Coraline ... Yes or No

I've been doing some reading on Coraline and I'm not sure whether to introduce it into my tank. Is it a major advantage to have it? My tank seems stable after 6 mos and haven't lost any critters. I have a Zoa that looks healthy although its not spreading.

If you like the look of it, then I would say yes. Are you pushing for a low nutrient system? You have 0 on nitrates and phosphates. I think keeping those 0 all the time is going to maybe drive you a little crazy.

This is just where I'm at after 6 mos. I don't know what I should be striving for.
I just ordered these since they are not overly expensive. What are the suggestions for keeping these alive?

Acropora sp. - Deepwater Acro - 2"

Seriatopora sp. - Thick Branch Green Birdsnest Coral

Xenia sp. - White Xenia 2.5"-3" Stock Frag

Pachyclavularia sp. - "Green" Star Polyps - 1.5" Stock Frag

Efflatounaria sp. Aussie Blue Xenia 1.5" Stock Frag

Montipora capricornus -UC Red "Monti Cap" 1" Stock Frag

coraline will get into your system eventually, unless you take some serious serious steps to prevent it.

they will give your rocks a more aged natural look, and the purple is quite pretty.

coraline will use up your major elements as they grow, so keep on top of your testing to maintain stability!

Get on top of your testing would be one thing I'd suggest. The coraline will just show upon its own. Your kh and calcium are on the low side.

If you have a reef tank its nearly impossible to keep coraline out of it. I lime it and do what I can to bet it going as soon as possible. Its an older tip to keeping sps is to wait until you have coraline growing before you add sps.
