Corallife timer ?

I have a corallife timer the digital one. I am having a hard time to get it to work as a wavemaker. It say on the website it will change every 15 minutes if I select random. I can't get to do anything it just stays on the one side and does not switch. Am I doing something wrong? I thought all have to do is select RDM

I used one of those for a while on my nano... The timer would lose like 2 hours a day... The wave timer didn't end up working, and I ended up tossing it. I bought it for very close to wholesale from someone locally, so I didn't mind getting rid of it too much. The basic digital reefkeepers are pretty inexpensive (in the scheme of things in this hobby), and are much more accurate, expandable, and reliable. I'd look into that if you can't figure out the wave timer/it doesn't end up working. Better than replacing it with another ~$30 or so timer.
