So, I had just purchased some turbo snails about 3 weeks that some really nice pink coralline algae -- which I was hoping would seed my live rock with it.
However, this coralline is now turning white:

I do not have now nor have ever had coralline algae in my tank.
I use Red Sea Coral Pro salt and water change 15-20% every week.
Water parameters are normal:
Salinity: 1.025
dKh: 9.2 - 9.5
Calcium: 430 - 460
pH: 8.3
Water Temperature: 79-81
I honestly never tested for Magnesium or Iodine as I thought the weekly water changes would take care of that.
I dose 1mL NoPox and about 2.5mL Seachem Carbonate daily to keep things in range.
I know others say they hate coralline algae, but I would like to see it show up. What am I missing?
