Anyone have any luck scraping coralline from their overflows? Mine are the textured ABS type of overflows so scraping doesn't seem to do the job. Not a big fan of the coralline on them. Any ideas? Thanks, Matt

Maybe try a plastic scrub brush from HD, or some type of filter pad. It will definetely take some elbow greise.

Learn to love the coralline! Even if there's a way to remove it, you'll get tired of trying eventually so just embrace it.

Ha! Ok, I'll try to learn to love it. I've tried the scrub brushes but my elbows done run out of grease. Was thinking I might try the gadget that supposedly boils it off. We'll see. thanks for the responses.

Soak them in some vinegar. It turns coralline to mush. Rinse well. Perfectly safe.

They will be clean as a whistle.
