Coralline Question

Does coralline glow under actinics?
I'm wondering because I have a rock that's glowing purple/pink and I don't know what it is..
I'll post a picture soon.

I don't have a good enough camera to get a picture lol..
It's just all blue.

I think, I may be wrong, but when coraline turns bright pink it's dead or is going to die.

Yes coralline can grow under actinic light. And there r different colors of the algae . Just depends what strands have been introduced to the system. I have red, purple, and pink in my tank. It's died when it's white. I have found coralline is more about water chemistry then light.

I have coralline growing under a single 3 watt led light over a 10 gal tank. Also growing ever 900 par in a frag tank

I believe even green coraline too ....

I think so because my corraline algae has a neon color with my moon lights on.
