Corals/anemones for the mangrove tank?

I'm setting up a tank similar to Margarita Man's mangrove tank.

I'm wondering if anyone else has a similar system, and if so, what corals/anemones they may be keeping.

TIA!

Looks like a nice little set up ;) I'd suggest anemone's such as condy's and rock/flower anemones that are found in mangrove swamps. For corals, probably some of the free living LPS corals such as lopophyton and elegance. Pocillipora might be a good choice for a SPS type.

Was actually hoping to find some rock/flower anemones (Epicystis, IIRC). Does anyone have a source?

This tank will be lit by a 150DE 6500K lamp about 18" above the tank, and will hopefully be circulated by a couple of airlifts... will this be enought light and flow for the anemones, and what is their substrate preference?

Also, do any fishes from the West Atlantic/Caribbean/Gulf that would stay small and do well in a tank like this jump to mind?

The Epicystis (you recall correctly :D ) are usually readily available from the keys and carribean collectors. I see these on wholesale lists on a regular basis. If you have a good LFS, they should be able to order some for you. The substrate you have in there should be fine, they will attach to the glass and mangroves as well any rocks/rubble you have in there. Lighting and circulation should be fine.

Good fishes that come to mind, chalk bass, tobacco basslets, carribean spotted hawkfish, damsels, cardinals, asst gobies etc.
