What species of coral or anemone is that third picture down? It looks to be a free swimming variety ;)

Your pictures are nice. The first one has too much close to the camera out of focus, it's distracting, but maybe you were doing that for some effect?

It's a little known sixline leather swimming coral!

Thanks, yeah I did it on purpose I liked having the back in focus, but there is alot oof. Still trying to decide myself if I like it or not.

Nice pictures, the one of the 6 line is pretty cool looking, he's looking right at the camera and seems to be puffing his chest out at it.

Good job. I suggest turning off your pumps and letting the water motion settle down before shooting.

Thanks, shooting with a Canon 7D, the bright ones are with studio strobes, the last one was hand held under actinic lighting.

@Punisher, he is, anytime anyone stands in front of the tank he swims over and does his little 'Go away before I have to kick your ***' dance.

@Reef Bass, good idea, I'll give that a try.

Anyone wanna buy me a macro lens?
