Corals coexisting

Does anyone know if an orange digi and a sunset monti can coexist without killing one another? Thanks.

montipora usually lives well together. I've seen them grow together.

In my experience the Sunset monti will take over and smother another digi. It's seems to be the more aggressive of entrusting monti.

+1^. They are both montipora,but differant sp.,and since ,I think, sunset grows faster,it would probably grow over the digi.

+2^, most monti will tolerate each other, worth letting them come together to see, you might end up with some designer morph and make millions! :spin1:

Ok, anyone wanna line up for sales, lol. I placed it somewhere else anyways. Just was wondering if they would come to an agreement of some sort. It would have been a good 6" away from the sunset, but it seems the sunset encrusts about 1/2"/month so that would have given me maybe a year.
