Corals for a noobie

Almost no corals require feeding. Sun corals and other non-photosynthetic corals need fed, but the rest don't....just good lighting and parameters.

SPS definitely don't need fed, but they are higher maintenance in other ways.

+1, most corals benefit from feeding but few require it.

I'd recommend leathers and other soft corals for easy beginner specimens.

I have a cuc in place already.. should I get a fish or 2 first before corals or that doesnt even matter? I heard corals like fish poop lol

I'd wait until the tank stabilizes for a while before adding coral.

Add a few fish at a time, let the bio load catch up, and after a few months then maybe a leather, or common LPS pcs.

Also certain coral like different flow rates

SPS generally get placed higher in the tank, better par values for lighting, higher flow rates

Based on the coral knowledge you have expressed so far I highly recommend you wait.. ;)
In general SPS corals are the most difficult...

As stated most corals are photosynthetic and get most/all of their needed food/energy from the algae living inside them.
They also require proper/stable water parameters which you will typically not achieve in the beginning and you should absolutely wait until you can be sure you can provide what they need..
Soft/leather corals or LPS corals would be a good choice to start out..
Here is a decent list of "Corals for beginners" for you to start looking at /learning more about..

And when you are ready for corals I would stay away from xenia and encrusting polyps like zoa's, . They require maintenance or they will take over a tank. Or maybe thats what you want.
