Corals losing color

My corals have been loosing color slowly for awhile now and my cheato has not been doing to well. Parameters were all good. Took my TLF with GFO off line about 2 weeks ago and wala color is coming back, go figure. The reason I started using it in the first place was to color them up and they did for awhile. Guess you can remove too much Phosphate! Should I adjust the amount I put in the chamber? I fill it about ¼ maybe a little more with GFO. Maybe I should I leave it offline and wait to see what happens?

if there are no algae problems, I'd say leave it off line

Ferric Oxide has been known to effect some corals.. I had an episode which killed my Styloporas and some of my acros lost color,..

I would take it offline.
