Are corals not the same as live rock? Sold seperately??

corals are living animals. We can't explain it in the scope of a thread. Google is your friend, more information than you can possibly digest.

Live rock might contain some small corals on it, but it's unlikely. It's usually just rock with coralline algae and bacteria and small creatures in it.
