corals turning white?????

I have recently noticed a brown digitata and a green birdsnest that are turning completely white from the center out.The only thing I have changed recently is using some new carbon(ESV) and I changed out my rowaphos in my little chamber.Please help how do I stop this ????????????????????????????????????? So far my other softies and some acros seem fine.

how long is it taking? could be stn or rtn if it is a fast onset, try cutting back on the rowa if your po4 was high from spent media it may be shocking them. Also did you rinse the rowa before use?

yes I did.The reason I changed the rowa out was because I noticed that the pump feeding it had stopped.I really don't know how long that pump had been down,maybe a couple of days.

Could you have cleaned off some salt creep that feel onto the corals?

If you added a lot of carbon they could be bleaching out if the water got too clear too fast.

Carbon maybe, I would lean more towards low Alk... Check that.

Just since it's coming from the center out.
