Corals under actinic

I got my new UVI Super Actinic in for my T-5 setup, and I've been very happy with the colors, so I decided to take some pictures with just the actinics on:

Orange on blue and Blue on purple Ricordia florida

Green Hairy (or is it fuzzy?) mushroom

Red and green Echinophyllia

Yeah, those rics are some of my favorites. That Euphyllia is pretty amazing under actinics as well. Unfortunately, the picture didn't really do it justice. I had to take the picture towards the edge of my bowfront, and it's pretty much impossible to do without some distortion. As cool as bowfronts look, I don't think I'll ever buy one again.

What settings do you use to take the pics of the corals under actinics? I like how the colors pop.

The real secret is turning off all or most of the pumps to keep everything in the tank nice and still so you can use a long exposure. All of the shots were taken using a Canon Digital Rebel with 100mm macro lens. The ISO was set to 400, and I used 1/10s exposure for most of the shots. F-stop was set between 4.5-6.3. The T-5 actinics are actually a little brighter than most VHO actinics I've seen, which made the pictures quite a bit easier to take.
