After pulling my skimmer out I noticed that the outer layer of the cord was cracked where it exits the main skimmer box. I do not feel a current, but pulled it to be safe. Is there a product that I can use to repair the cord? I would rather not do a temporary fix. Any information would be appreciated.

The only possible safe repair is a new pump, these pumps are available from many dealers. If your pump is 1073.008, Premium Aquatics, Marine Depot, Salty Critter and Salty Supply all stock this pump, you can also order it on Tunze.com (direct) however we are out until next week. If it is the older 0800.040, Premium Aquatics or Tunze.com would be sources and we do have this pump in stock.
