My father is remodeling his house and has decided to install a reef tank.
The idea for the tank is to be placed in the corner of the room. My questions is, would it be possible to make the tank basically two rectangular tanks that meet in a corner to form a single "L" shaped aquarium.
Dimension: 66" long x 20" diameter x 40" tall (6" sand bed and 3" top clearing for surge possibilities). The corner of the wall will be 66" from the corner, or ~45" (after glass depth).
I am thinking of putting the overflow in the two sides of the corner.
The next difficult aspect to this tank is flow, would a Tunze Wavebox possible work is this setup? Would two work?
Thanx guys this is preliminary setup stuff as soon as I can get an understanding on whether this design will even work. As soon as I can get real dimensions I will post the rest of the equipment we are planning.
