I have that green algae but I also have coraline starting all over too. My coraline has all started out as tiny purple dots. Once mine started it took off a lot faster.

So I have been doing a lot of research
Maybe you guys can answer using dry rock and not adding any purple or pink corline algae can it form on it own ??? Or does the tank have to be seeded with it?? I have like small green spot here and there and some what it looks like white corline algae forming but people keep telling me that corline algae will not for on its own????

Sometimes it even comes in on snail's shells. In my current tank when the coralline started it was a lime green very short algae looked completely different from anything else. Then it turned yellow, to pink to purple. Looked very cool, I just wish it had kept all of those colors. Now it's all purple

Just get the lfs store to scrape some off the side or back of one of there tanks. Mix it with some tank water in a glass with a small amount of Kalk or Calcium of some kind and Magnesium ... This will seed your tank..
Or Buy a piece of rock from one of there tanks .
