Corrrect methodology to rock placement?

I changed everything again but this time on purpose just so live rock has more of its face open to the tank lights.

I think I just randomly grabbed at live rock.

I have a few coral rocks that look more like pretrified branches which I am starting to think makes my tank look ugly.

difficult really mate to know about rock placement, its sort of up to you, the old saying is beauty is in the eye of the beholder, if your not happy then try to re-style it, obviously its best to have large rocks at the bottom and smaller on the way up, lets have a pic of it now, and perhaps the guys on here may be able to advise you what to do:)

I put my smaller rocks on the bottom. But they are at the "corners" of the larger rocks. That way I don't loose the surface area under the largest rocks to sand and they make caves and such.

I think its very stable. Its kinda-like a tripod, in a weird sorta way. I was going to do the acrylic rod stand method, but this keep everything more natural looking.

well im hoping inachu will respond to us and help this interesting thread to continue, when questions are asked we all usually expect another reply, especially when the poster is on line and answering other questions elsewhere

I am not home at the moment.

fair enough mate many apologies:)

I would ask many a dumb question here but I am sure they would be deleted out of sanities sake or thinking keeping me from looking too foolish but I'll admit you can't learn if you do not ask.

Now only if RC would not delete any of my dumb threads.

FYI - in 1997 I was hit by mother nature and it too kme 2 years to get over the fear of bad weather.

I am over that now. Now I just have to cope with memory loss due to the hit. Not everyday a man brushes his teeth with a safety razor then goes to a messages board to see all his questions deleted.

when you get home, see if you can show us all a picture of your new rock layout, hopefully then we can help you with your original question, i know youve had problems and id love it if things started to go well for you, im not mocking in anyway, i honestly am enjoying this thread and would love it to continue:)
