As a method of keeping critters from entering the internal overflow and subsequently the drainage bulkheads, would it be sufficient to place a baffle on the interior of the overflow - say 1/2" from the front and 1/2" above the bottom of the overflow?
With a 48" long overflow, this would provide the water a 48"x.5" pathway to feed 2 1" bulkheads. Would I starve the bulkheads by limiting the flow in this manner?
