could someone Identify this tang?

This tang was sold to me as a black tang, and I know this is no so.

This is definitely not a black tang but looks like a naso family to me . Can get a closer picture for it ?
 
Well....seeing as how a Naso is a tang, and that fish you have there is black, then I guess you really did buy a black tang.:p

On a more serious note seems to me that it looks like some type of Acanthurus species.

The fish is still a little timid, but, i will see if I can get a closer pic.

It looks alot like this species, not to sure on this, tho.
 
i had a tennetti before and when i first got it was a darkrer gray like the one you have. give it a couple of days and see if it changes color

No I didn't pay black tang price, not out here in the middle of no where land, Kansas lol. I knew it wasn't a black tang.
