Hi guys I have been having some issues in my tank regarding sps and I noticed this growing in my sump recently . No idea what it is, it has the consistency of xenia. Could it be causing an issue?

no image, but for anyone to answer we will also need parameters. Not you saying they are fine, but the measurements. Have you had any parameter swings? Alkalinity swings are probably the most common cause of sps failure. Phosphates and lighting are also common problems. Do you keep a light in your sump?
