Could use advice on my new 350 Gal in wall system

Your system looks very well thought out. I have a similar type of tank room behind my 410 gal DT. The one thing to keep in mind is that from looking at your sketchup, you are going to have a lot less room to move around than you think. When I built my system I thought I would have plenty of space and I quickly found out that I wish it had been bigger.

The concern I see with your room is that now that you moved the DT to the right, you have cut off being able to get to half of the QT tanks. You may not think that is a big deal but believe me it will be. And if you drop anything into that corner you will never be able to get to it.

Just something to keep in mind. Good luck with it. Looks like it is going to be very nice.

Good call. I had the tanked temporarily moved there in a previous save and inadvertently posted that previous print. It will actually be closer to the wall where I can reach into the corner if needed. I will have a step stool to clean the sides of the tank and can also reach from the front. I will have a access above the tank in the front wall. Probably use a stone backsplash around the access.

Well, I finally got the tank up and running about 2 months ago. It's not the same as the desing as I got a SMOKIN' deal on a 220 on craigs with stand, sump, 350lbs live rock, and a fantastic livestock. Would have cost $4-5k more had I built it all myself. Here are some pics!

Completely forgot about updating this thread. I'm still working on the fish room so until it's finished I will not have update pictures of it.

But here are some of the tank!
