could you ID

Hi there I was looking in my tank and I seen this wee critter and it was to see if anyone could ID. There is lots of wee white critters running over my LR and sand they are to small to get a photo of do you know what they are.

Feather dusters are good, but be wary if you have tons of them. They are a sign of how much nutrients you have in the water.
 
Cheers for that markzfishn1and dc_909 my tank is still on cycle yet so im looking forward so seeing more wee critters:D

how do you mean i have hundreds of them on everything rock , snails crabs and powerheads but have never had any algae at all.

i feed them phytoplancton every so often.
 
nutrients is too general of a term.

you have your fertilizer type nutrients that grow algae, and you have your tasty morsels of dust, eggs, coral food, etc blowing around in the water column type of nutrients that would feed a bunch of filter feeders like featherdusters and sponges.
