Could you share your ATO designs?

I would like to see a couple ATO designs, about to build mine and just want to make sure I am not making it harder than it needs to be. If you happen to be using a Tunze I would really be interested in your set up.

Thanks

I"ve got two floats in my sump.... one primary and one emergency... both tied into my Apex and programed. I have a pump in my RODI tank (55 gallon) on the other side of the room. I used soft tubing to run from there to the sump. The pump is controlled by the Apex tied into the two floats. The only problem I had was having a siphon created, so I ran piple from the pump up to the top of the water tank, and did a u -- where the pipe teas one line goes back into the water tank the other connects to the line to the sump. This pipe is higher than the sump so that breaks the siphon when the water turns off.

I'll try and post pictures this weekend. It works great!!

Ill get better pictures this weekend... but look here:

The blue container is 7.5 g holder for the ATO. Right above it is a 50ml doser pump.

In the sump is a float (have not added second one yet) to determine the low point in the water. It is run by my apex also. I have an alarm setup where it if runs greater than 8 minutes it goes off and notifies me.

I've got an osmolatar and used it with great success on my 140g. It flaked out after a year and started overfilling to the emergency float. But they replaced it (cdn distributor was horrible to work with).

I'm using it on my 10g nano at work now and it works okay. It tends to run for a set extra amount of time after the water hits the optical sensor, which works nice to avoid hysteresis on a bigger tank. On my nano it's almost too much.

Overall I like it a alot. Worth the money. It's k e of those devices that "just works" without me having to think about it
