Couple LPS ?'s

I've had my new acquisitions for about a week now I have a couple questions about them. I noticed on my Caulastrea there some white growths on the exoskeleton. I looked closer and it looks like what the inside of a bone looks like. Is it dividing. Also is there a trick to feeding frogspawn and trachyphyllias.

Try to get a picture of the white growths. Candy cane usually divides by one head splitting to two. Frogspawn shouldn't need feeding and the Trachyphyllia should put his tentacles out when you put food by him.

One of the heads is in the process of splitting and it has the growth on its exoskeleton.

White sponge, you can remove it by fingers (may be in gloves, I'm barehanded), when compressed - it's like wet cotton on touch. Harmless in my tanks, helps filter water and I like the look. Although better to have it on LR, than on corals.

Pretty common with Calaustrea, I have some on my colony as well. As long as their health is good they should be able to stay one step ahead of it.

My green trachy, was doing fine for the last week but I looked at it today and the flesh is receding everywhere and some was even hanging on. It still has good color so bleaching is out. I checked the params and its 0/0/0. The sg is 1.024. I moved it, and hopefully it was the flow that was causing it. Is there anything I can do to save it.

Anything more than keeping pristine perameters while it gets through this time would be stressfull, invasive, and/or experimental in my honest opinion. Hopefully it's not a bacterial infection, and was just the flow as you say

Also wouldnt hurt to add a lil more fresh carbon if you havent already so the flesh and any innards dont pollute the tank to heavily. Wouldnt remove the old if it is old, as it may be helping through established good bacterial colonies to help the biologically filtering.

I looked at it today and its even worse. There was 2 mouths, but each side is fading. Should I just take it out to avoid the decomposition. Theres still some flesh that looks ok, but the mouths look dead.
