what digs these tunnels? I can sometimes see movement but never can get a good look at what it is?

Also, this is suppose to be a mushroom, but to me it doesn't look too good? I didn't plan on putting corals in my tank but it was attached to some live rock I bought. Any idea what I can do or if it is o.k. and I'm just thinking it's not?

My Opinon 1st is from red bristle worms. mine is loaded with them. they come out at night. 2nd get some zoo plankton from a lfs or make your own. we have a freind in our local club that makes it. good luck

Various worms make tunnels in the sand. They're fine to have.

That looks like a standard mushroom coral to me. It's probably fine, but it might take a bit to unfold into the normal disc shape.

keep the mushroom. once it grows and splits a few times it will give you the reefin' bug :D

great so it's like legal crack???

coming down from a crack high is much easier than a tank crash too LOL although i have never experienced a drug induced high.
