Couple of new pictures of the 240.

Thanks Zoaman for the ID. They are cool looking. I have some green star polyps and they are growing fast and I was wondering if I have created a monster...they are growing pretty fast, but I have rearranged my rocks and they seem to be very healthy, but have slowed their growth.....

Rendos - your blue star polyps seem under control and look great in your tank....do you have issues with keeping them under control? After Zoaman ID them I did a little research and there were some folks that had issues with them taking over....

Very nice setup!
I have a SPS dominated system and have blue clove polyps spreading on my rock as well. Do you know if these cause the base of your sps to recede? The clove polyps are growing out of control and was wondering if I needed to keep them away from sps.

Thank you,

The blue cloves do take over your tank. Including rocks, powerheads and locline. They spread like mad. But from what I have gathered by talking to several people whose tanks they have taken over, they have not harmed any corals.

just got in several zoa's so maybe that is not a good fit....unless I isolate it on it on island rock......or I could wage a war and pit it against my green star polyps

New Tank? or sellin all that stuff to get Lisa a awesomer christmas!

Awesomer because of the new TV commercial that is makeing me nuts!

No new tank, no awesomer Christmas gifts. Just getting rid of all our tanks for a while. We are thinking of moving and need to fix up the house before selling it. Much easier to do when the tanks are out of the way.
