Couple Zoa Noob Quesitions Please?

Last night I picked up my first two corals after a year of running fowler. One is a Radioactive Dragon Eye the other is a Tubbs Blue.

Both looked very healthy at my LFS. I them home and as expected they had closed up. I acclimated them for temp for about 45 mins and then placed them on the sandbed. Today the Dragon Eye opened up almost all of the polyps nicely and then closed tonight at lights out. The Tubbs have never opened at all after 24 hours. My questions are:

1 - Is it normal for polyps to close up each night when lights dim and go out?

2 - Is it normal for the Tubbs Blues to not have opened yet? How long usually before they open up?

My parameters today are:
Ca 425
Mg 1200
Alk 8.7
Salinity 1.023
Am and nitrates 0
Temp 80

Yes, polyps will close up at night and nothing to worry about here.

Since it has only been a day I would not worry too much about it yet and they may be just adjusting. I have tubs blue and they grow like crazy for me (see my avatar, they are in the background). Sometimes the whole colony (100's) will close up for a few days then open up. If they continue to stay closed place them in a higher flow area. I keep mine in a moderate flow section of the tank.

Nice :)
