I treated for flatworms on Sunday 11/24 with flatworm exit and did the instructions by sucking and removing as many flatworms as possible off the glass and rocks and such. Felt I did a pretty good job but had no clue how big the population really was.
Did the treatment and within 25 minutes I could see all the rocks develop a slime coming off of them (I assume it was the flatworm toxins) and flatworms floating every where. Used a filter sock in front of the power head to collect as many as possible and siphoned out as much of the slime that I could get (not very easy on a 210gal tank).
Did a 40% water change and added 5lbs of BRS ROX carbon in the reactors and filter socks an hour after treatment. All the fish seemed irritated and but by the next day every one was ok except for the cowfish (2 years old and about 1ft big). He was laying on the bottom all day Monday, Tuesday he didn't have much balance and fins were deteriorating, Wednesday he was suck at the top and on his side, did another 25% water change. Thursday he is upside down and bloated and cannot swim at all so i put him in a QT tank so in case he does die wont nuke the tank. Friday and still will not eat and stuck on his back floating and wont eat. Added some stress coat and melafix to help with his fins but no improvements. He is still alert and trying to squirt water at you but cannot move and is super bloated, trying to figure out what I can do for him but out of ideas!
Thanks for the suggestions in advance
