Cozumel

I went to cozumel in November an went snorkeling. This was the first time I have been there in 10 years. I noticed that the island has become very developed. Since I was tight on time I only had one day their and did not get a chance to view the whole island but from the port to where I went snorkiling they have really built up the island. The one thing I did not like was right when you get off the boat you get harassed by all the vendors selling snorkeling trips, Rental tours ect... I whish that it was not so built up but that is progress I guess....

Cozumel is not built up except where you get off the boat and in town...80% of the island is undeveloped. Look at an arial view on google earth and you can see for yourself.

I understand what you are saying the area around down town is starting to spread out, but if you get away from there to areas further downt the shore it still has its small apeal. I still love it there!
