CPR Aquafuge Medium pump question

I just traded for a CPR Aquafuge Medium Refugium. It didn't come with a pump, but I thought maybe I could use my MaxiJet 600 or 1200 on it. The 600 may be closer to being the correct flow. Has anyone done this? If so, what did you use to connect it to the inlet?

I have not tried that specific set up but I would always suggest using unions and union valves "everywhere" Unions are our friend.

I tried the one from my phosban reactor last night, but it didn't quite fit. It was a little too big. If I had an extra, I would physically alter it to see if it would work.

check out the line of sicce pumps the make some realy small quiet pumps that should work for you i know that Kermits Reef carries them

Do those connect right up or do I still need a union?

my HOB fuge came with a via aqua pump, i think an 820 but i may be totall wrong on the number
