CPR First AID Isolation for Coral QT?

Hi all,

I'm getting ready to purchase my first few corals and I was wondering if this product would be a good solution to hang on my main tank so the corals can be QTed for a little bit & still get the light from my Kessil?

I also plan to dip with either CoralRX Pro or Revive. I'm not 100% sure yet and have read several threads which suggest they are both good. However, if anyone has some compelling reasons for me to go one way or the other - feel free to share! The only firm observation I have at this point is that Revive is a fraction of the price of CoralRX Pro or even regular CoralRX.

Thanks in advance!

I thought the main thing about QT is to not introduce parasites, disease, or pests into your DT. If this is being used in the DT then that defeats the purpose of QT in my opinion.

There would be a couple of problems, first there would be no water flow in the unit, corals need good water flow. second you never want to contaminate your DT with water that could have a disaese. If you are gong to quarantine your corals do it in a seperate tank or container. As far as dips go, I use a 10 minute dip in Coral Rx and then a 5 minute soak in Revive.
