CPR HOB Refigium help please

I just got home from a long drive to buy a used CPR HOB Aqua Fuge.

My concern is that this thing is heavy filled up. It is 18" long and my tank is only 30 gal. Is this designed so it will not pull on the glass?

Do you think this weight is ok on the tank? The guy from my reef club I bought it from had it on a 46.

I dont know the thickness of his 46. It was a bow. I have a standard 30.

I didn't think about this until I filled it up and realized how heavy it is.

Yes, consider supporting the bottom of the refugium, so that not all its weight is pulling down on the tank.

For one there is a DSB in it now. I am going to remove a lot of it.
