CPR overflow

I have 2 reef tanks that are not drilled and want to put in a fuge/sump. Anyone familiar with the overflows out there. My biggest worry would be if it broke siphon and flooded. How are the CPR overflows? TIA

I've had mine for close to two years now with no problems as long as the aqua lifter pump is working correctly and a little routine maintenance.
Any overflow box is scarey IMO.
If I could start over my tank would definately be drilled.

ditto. keep a spare aqualifter on hand just in case....and tilt it just a tad so the air escape nipple is a bit higher than the the rest of the overflow. you can use the screws on each end for that.

What would happen in a power outage? Is that the CPR overflow?
Yeah, I wish my tank was drilled. Will have to wait for for my upgrade down the road.
