Not sure of the species, but fairly certain it's not the culprit to your fish loss due to its size. If it was a 3" crab, which it will eventually Grier to be, I'd say possibly.
Definitely not your culprit, and I agree that it looks like some form of coral crab. They're usually harmless but sometimes annoy the coral. He shouldn't get any bigger.
I'd suggest you look into other reasons for the fish deaths. Could they have jumped?
