Crab Hitchiked with my Blenny!

I just figured I would crosspost this thread:
id Help: small tan mottled crab (hitchiked with a fish!)

This, as of yet still unidentified, crab was in the bag with my Lawnmower Blenny I got from you guys. I've never heard of a crab hitchiking with a fish but it happened to me!

All my fish and corals arrived safely and are still alive.

Thank you for your post. The crab in the pictures you have posted appear to be from the genus Dromia. These crabs are not reef safe.

I assumed he was not reef safe and put him in my fuge.
Any idea (other than its coloring) how it ended up shipping with my LMB?

Pat_man_ta,

The crab was most likely in the corner of the specimen container that the fish was captured in, and when the fish was poured into the shipping bag the crab slipped in as well. We apologize for the inconvenience.
