I posted this in another forum but wanted to know if anyone here had any experience with them.
I found this guy in a branch on one of my Acros.
He is about 3/8" diameter and kind of fuzzy.I assuming he's not good.
I was thinking of putting him in refugium but not sure.
Coral eater. They can live in and feed off of a large healthy colony without killing it. If its in a small delicate colony i would get it out before it does more damage than the coral can recover from.
It will most likely starve without a food source so putting it in your sump might not be as humane as you think. Try posting it for free to someone with an aggressive fish tank. At least its remains won't go to waste.
