Crab ID........ Hitchhiker

Hey guys I got this little guy on a colony of Zoas I purchased last week. I can't get him to come out for anything. This is the most I have seen of him. Luckily he hid in a rock I transferred into a nano tank tonight. Any help with ID would be greatly appreciated. I will try for a better pic if I can catch the sneaky little crab out and about. Thanks in advance.

I had a red one that looked identical to that. Caught him with a zoa in his claw.... Was wondering why they kept disappearing. He is now entombed with super glue.

Lol " entombed with superglue." That's good. I'm not so sure he's bad yet. He was in my main tank for about a week. I didn't notice any damage or missing fish. He shared the same rock with my clown goby. He has large claws that seem really fat and round.

Looks like an emerald. Just in case, do you have a sump to put him in?

As far as I'm concerned, no crab with a decent sized claw is good.

Well I stayed frozen with my camera long enough and sure enough he snuck out. Here's the picture.

The tank the crab is in has a piece of live rock some mushrooms I'm attempting to propagate and a hermit. I do not have a simp to place him in yet.

To me it looks like it might be an emerald crab.

I pulled him off the rocks today. He had large sharp black tipped pinchers. He is now out of the tank. Thank you for all the help guys!
