Hi all. Caught this bugger in my tank last night. I've got it in a cup in my refuge now whilst I decide it's fate. I think that if I put it in the fuge, I'll never see it again, and I often grab rubble out of the fuge to mount frags on, and with him in there I'll be a little more hesitant about sticking my hands in there. I'm fairly certain it's one of the bad kinds of xanthids, but it's pretty darn cool looking. I think it looks like the crab version of Chucky the murderous doll. I'm partially inclined to flush it, and part of me wants to set up a 2.5G tank for it. lol
On to the pics. It's about 2" across when it's spread out. Must have came in as a hitchhiker a long time ago, seeing as I haven't added anything to that tank in a while...
