my bet would be gorila bad crab

A gorilla crab? anyway, I would look in the Xanthidae and possibly Mithrax family.

i dont think its a gorilla crab because they have pointy black tips on the claws. the one you have has more of the spoon shaped tops like an emerald crab making me believe its an algae eating crab. either way, if it gets big enough i bet it will mess with things more meaty.
