Crab ID.

I found this guy dead in my tank he had been in there about a year, I thought he was a emerald crab because of the claws but he isn't really emerald in color.

Its a type of cling crab, and pretty much just a darker version of the emerald crabs, have been looking for an actual ID myself since I also have one, so far they seem to be on par with emeralds in their food preferences, but being a crab, I still dont trust any of them.

Are you sure thats not just the molt? Crabs molting looks like a perfect little crab...I have found a couple and thought one of my hitchhikers died but they are all still alive

I found it and thought it was a molt but I saw inside and it looked like something had eaten the guts of the crab.
