I have a hitch hikers that I finally ID'ed it is a Mithrax Forceps (Majid Crab) are they reef safe? If not how do you remove them he is very snicky but getting bigger by the day. Pics at rock non stop. I have seen him pinch at my cleaner shrimps whiskers once. Does anyone have any experience with this crab? how big do they get? habits? etc.

Mithrax crabs are generally sought after crabs, not usually considered pests, though I no longer trust any crabs except maybe acro crabs, and even then, who knows...
To get rid of them, get a double or triple shot shotglass, put some food in the bottom, and lean it up against the rocks. The crab will try to get it at night, and fall into the glass, but can't climb back out again
