Crabzilla!!!!

I was at that fish place lastnight and here is what I saw!!! I have never seen a crab this big!!

that is pretty big, how much was he?

We were in Belize last fall. There were hermit crabs in 12"+ Queen Conch shells.

Not sure how much he was but what would you do with him!!! You would need a 500+ gallon system for him. and I would think he would knock your reef down unless you really secure the rockwork. even then he might break off corals. I could imagine what his legs would do to some zoa's!!!

Those guys are probably for fish only tanks. I was there last Sunday and didn't see it, but I've seen similar sized ones before

I saw him, I wanted to pick him up so bad! They said he was heavy! He was I think $70. I've never seen a hermit so big! It would be a cool species tank! If he ever goes on sale, I may just pick him up, haha. He is in the back far corner tank, where the scorpion fish used to be.

yup back corner. he is a monster. I wish I had a tank for him!!

I don't think he'd need much, he just kinda sat there when I watched him for about 10 mins, haha. I am setting up a 75g sump/fuge, I wonder if he'd be alright in there! He'd prolly eat my stars, scallops and coral banded shrimp though!
