Crashing Rot's

How do most of you know when your rot's have crashed. I guess my question is what do you look for considering the air stone is moving the water around? Thanks

Turn the bubles off to stop water movement, i shine a torch to the surface and watch to see them congregate towards the light after 5-10mins, use a magnifying glass if possible. you should be able to see them through that depending on home much phyto you have dosed them, a good indication that your culture is going well is the black eggs attached to them you will need to look through the magnify glass to see them though

throw in your phyto, if it doesnt clear by end of the day than possible crash.

Yeah turn off airstone and shine light in water you will see the rots.
If they did crash you can restart using the gunk on the bottom of your rot tank. There will surely be cysts in that.
