I was there with my wife about 7 years ago. It is something that has to be seen to understand how beautiful it is. We flew out to Seattle for our honeymoon and spent two weeks driving down to San Francisco. We saw alot of amazing sights along the way but Crater Lake was by far the highlight of the trip for me.

I took this shot before Christmas. There was a LOT more snow then.
