Crazy Haitian Anemone

Hey There.

I've been battling for 3 months with my haitian anemone.. He just keeps moving around the tank.. encroaching on other corals until i move him.

I've tried to feed him in one spot frozen krill thinking he'd stay there, but I woke up this morning and he moved again..

Any thoughts ?

Is there a pattern to where it moves and why? Is it to the highest point closest to the lights? Is it away from stagnate areas? Are there critters bothering it's foot? Is it being fed regularly?

You got a picture of this anem? I'm interested to see it

To my understanding, the Haitian anemone is a condy, and they are notorious for wandering.

I'm assuming it's a Condy as well. As a-T-m said, they're pretty much guaranteed to move all the time. They're good for species tanks so they don't kill corals/fish but that's about it.

A description could help us tell if it's a condy or not.

my condy is in the same spot as when it was placed in the tank going on 2 months . i wish it would move a bit as its on a frag plug that has zoas on it.
