crazy yellow snail eatin worm

oh the year of pest...truly the apocalypse is nigh. so when my moonlight came on in the morning i saw a yellow worm, kinda similar to a bristle worm, eating one of my turbo snails in a ball of mucus. I stupidly tried to catch it before taking a picture. So i'm aware that bristle worms will eat snails in this manner but this is unlike any bristle worm ive ever seen. It was a pale/neon (i know it doesnt make sense) pukish sorta color with centipede type arms, and know visible bristles. This bastard must die, snails are expensive, and im taking this personal. Is a 6 line wrasse my only solution. i love the fish but i have two citron clown gobys in a a 30 gallon (and wish for them to spawn) and im afraid that a wrasse might be too mean. any comments or experience welcome.

How big was the worm? It might be able to eat the fish, if it's a predator. A picture would really help.

It's also possible that the snail was already dead, but the ball of mucus tends to make me think predator, although not necessarily the worm.

You could ask in the invertebrate forum.
