I was doing some tank watching today when I found this guy

I believe it to be some sort of tube worm but other than that I don't know.

I call them bastard worm things! They irritate the heck out of coral with their web. Kill them any way you can!

I have the same type of worm in my tank and the corals doesn't seem to be affected with their presence, which species is this worm? Why is it bad?
