I think I have seen a post somewhere with a picture of this but I cant search for it or find it on existing pages so I thought I would see if anyone might be able to tell from my description.

They are these little sea cucumber looking things only a millimeter or so long that I found on the glass.

they are worm/slug like and have 2 rows of spine like apendages going down their back. For some reason I have a feeling they ar unwanted but I thought I would check.

any advice to get rid of them if they are bad would be appreciated.

I have a 55 gal 2 months old live sand live rock 2 cleaner shrimp and 1 coral banded shrimp.

Hmm.. sounds like a nudibranch of some sort. If so then yes they are unwanted for the most part. They are specialized feeders and that often means some kind of desirable livestock is the meal.

Have a look on the ID page stuck on this forum. Look at the nudibranch, is that what you are seeing?

Ok it looks like a nudibranch but way smaller. so what should I do? are they bad? how should I get rid of them?

Like I said above they are specialized feeders and that often means some kind of desirable livestock is the meal. So they need to be removed.

It's all manual. Go looking for them at night, they are most often nocturnal
