Crocea clam not attaching to rocks

My 4" Crocea has been with me for about one and half years and I have never noticed it trying to attach to rocks. Is that normal? He is under 175Watts of 10K, now 20K metal halides.

if it seems healthy in every other way then i wouldnt worry
