Crocea clams

This is a picture of my croceas before when I had them under (2)250w 15k for about 2 years and suddenly the turqoise green crocea started turning brown. Could you please tell me what is going on. I just changed to 10K hoping it will fix the problem. Any input and help will be appreciated. I do feed Phyto twice a day, My husband grows it at home.

Does it look brown from the top or side? They all look brown from the side angle.

The crocea looked brown from the top. The 15k were a year old the 10k are recently purchased brand Hamilton.

the higher the k the shorter the usable life of a bulb. i swap my 10k's after about 10 months and i've heard people say they have to swap out their 20k's about every 6 months. so i would guess your on the right track, the year old 15k's probably weren't performing well. hopefully the new bulbs will help
